Prairie Spring Acupuncture Clinic has partnered with Healthy Living Counseling Center to offer a FREE Anxiety and PTSD Clinic for individuals who need help getting their symptoms under control, but can’t afford to pay for treatment right now. The Free Clinic is held each Saturday at Prairie Spring Acupuncture Clinic which is 3 minutes from HLCC’s office. The clinic is by appointment only.
The special acupuncture protocol helps decrease the symptoms of PTSD! It also helps you free yourself from the anxiety, so that you control the anxiety, it doesn’t control you.
This acupuncture treatment utilizes points on each ear to access the sympathetic nervous system, reducing your anxiety, stress, and PTSD symptoms. The relief of symptoms is typically extended for days by a unique application of acupressure.
The treatment is relaxing, and takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
For more information, or to schedule an appointment for this FREE Clinic, email Prairie Spring Acupuncture at email@example.com, or call (847) 221-8644.
Acupuncture can help to alleviate the signs and symptoms that accompany emotional health issues, and can treat the underlying imbalances in the body that have contributed to the problem, safely and naturally, using the body’s intrinsic healing abilities.
Major health issues can also lead to depression and anxiety, like chronic pain, substance abuse, stress (family, financial, job), diagnosis of a serious illness, emotional or physical trauma, grief, infertility issues, even the onset of menopause. Likewise, long standing emotional issues can also lead to physical health issues. The wonderful thing about using acupuncture along with therapy, is that while acupuncture and therapy can help ease the emotional symptoms, acupuncture treatment can also help to resolve the physical health concerns clients may be experiencing.
Other health concerns that can be treated with acupuncture include: musculoskeletal pain, joint pain, recovery from injury, arthritis, tendonitis, insomnia, asthma, allergies, digestive issues (IBS, acid reflux, chronic constipation or diarrhea, etc.), smoking cessation, weight loss assistance, post-surgical healing, support of symptom relief during cancer treatment, neuropathy, and women’s health issues (painful/irregular periods, menopausal symptom relief, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, infertility).
