Marguerite Martino, LCPC

I greet you with the belief that we are born into this world as unique and healthy human beings.  I believe that it is life’s stressors, and  overwhelming traumatic experiences that can move us off our centers and activate our nervous system.  This dysregulation causes symptoms of depression, anxiety, and maladaptive behaviors.

My goal is to create a setting in which you feel safe and supported, and collaboratively, we can identify your goals, and work to re-examine the patterns of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Together, with self-awareness and body consciousness, you can begin to feel more like yourself again!

I offer traditional Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and now, after intensive training and research, I also offer Somatic Experience and Internal Family Systems approach to address trauma and attachment injuries.

I have 20+ years of clinical experience in crisis intervention, specializing in major depression, anxiety related disorders, bipolar disorder, eating disorder, self-injury, chemical dependency, PTSD and other complex trauma.

Marguerite is in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna
